Sister: You tell him.
Me: And if he doesn't like you?
Sister: You kill him.

I will never understand why people float face down without moving for an extended period of time. Or why they have breath holding contests. Or why they pretend to drown. These people do this willingly! If you are a participant in those activities- YOU SHOULD STOP. Because it looks like you’re drowning.

It’s not fun for those of us that take life guarding seriously! My heart starts racing and I have those few awkward moments where I’m rocking in the guard chair ready to jump like okay, I know you can swim but do I still need to save you? Those are the worst moments of my life. It drives me nuts when they come up for air. And if I do whistle and jump and you’re fine, I’m going to look like an idiot and probably kick you out of the pool for the rest of the day.
